Recently i wrote an article on Orkut sometime used for good too....!!!, It does not last long... Orkut is again news for bad...!!! It is not because of Orkut. It is just the general issue with Internet and Web 2.0. It is about freedom of speech. People can express it in many ways like blogging about anything they like, don't like, discussing in forums...etc., Increasing technologies allow the people to interact more with other people who has similar thoughts can discuss about it. They can be friends also. It happens through Social networking which is very famous in recent days which is very much visible from the growth of Orkut, Myspace, Friendster..etc, Here we go about couple of recent news... I blogged about WLW System Hang problem yesterday. I did not find the reason why was it hanging. Joe Cheng works as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft Corporation informed me via the comments of my previous Entry to follow the instructions, Unfortunately this problem wont be solved until next release. If you are WLW user, and have the same problem just follow these instructions. 1. Goto Services control panel (Start | Run | services.msc) 2. Find the Windows Live Update Service, open its Properties, and change the value that says Manual to Disabled. 3. You are good to go. I have not checked it either. I was just checking out Windows Live Writer, Beta 2 .. It is worth looking for other Bloggers.. It has wonderful support for all kind of option Blogger want. But Blogger API does not support Image uploading so WLW does not seem to be good for Blogger(Blogspot blogs). This seems to be the GOOG's worst part. Let us see when are they going to update this feature. WLW attracted me for two major options: 1) Inserting Tables 2) Inserting Maps. These are the major options i would love to have it in my blog. Blogger API does not support these. Again one more thing is related to WLW. My system hanged couple of times after i started the WLW.
