Will TV be Juiced by Joost?

Yes. The new era has begun. Era of streaming videos has given an opportunity to the Internet to give a new value to the Internet. We have seen a well grown Streaming videos like Youtube, Google Videos, Daily motion, iFilm, Blip.tv... etc.,

See Instant messaging, TV shows,..oh..no. It is very good in everything. Ok what could be the common problems occur in the countries like mine(India).

In India, we watch only filtered version of channels, we filter out all the Adult channels and none of English movies channel can show adult content in the movie... either it is blurred out or something like that... most violent channels not allowed...and many more restrictions in channels in India.

If Joost comes in i don't think India is equipped to protect these channels to filter out the channels. Sometime back as everybody knows in URLs blocked in India, instead of 10 blogs Indian Govt. blocked blogger.com itself. It was the funniest event ever happened. After a long battle by bloggers the ban was lifted.

I'm just looking forward when Joost like Internet TVs comes in what can Indian Govt. do?
Does it block Internet TVs too?

Let us wait and see!!!

I have heard mixed comments about Joost but I am yet to try it out.
I was under the understanding that they would not be hosting adult channels and channels are dependent on which country you are viewing from anyway.
I would be interested in an invite if you have any spare.
Thanks G

E-Waste?

I'm very proud to participate in Blog Action day. I always had thoughts in my mind about environment in the blog. Thanks to http://www.blogactionday.org for providing me this great opportunity. OK. Let us talk about E-Waste. Being an Indian, I'll talk about What is it all about? and what is the status of it in India? Obviously my first reference about this in Wiki, "Electronic waste includes computers , entertainment electronics , mobile phones and other items that have been discarded by their original users. " Due to lack of time.. I just introduce you guys a web-site http://toxicslink.org/ which has so many articles about the environment... I request all of my readers to read and understand and think ourselves to take necessary steps. If i get time I'll post more about E-Wastes and Environment based articles more. Blogspot's blog posts archived before WWW created... lol

Haha... Isnt it really funny. While browsing, i came across some of the blog posts archived even before WWW(World Wide Web) created... You can look at the screenshots in the left and right hand side. I'm just wondering how Google's blogger allowed to have such things...? Is it really possible to pre-post the blogs even before the WWW & Blog was created? It left me to research when was really WWW created? I just searched on Wiki, to get the answer.., From Wiki, "...The World Wide Web was created in 1989 by Sir Tim Berners-Lee from England , and Robert Cailliau from Belgium , working at CERN in Geneva , Switzerland ..." Hope Wiki is not lying to me... ;-) . Hmm... So i thought Blog must be created after WWW was created... I guess you might be guessing the same.. some research vaguely shows, from wiki, Usenet was the primary serial medium included in the original definition of the World Wide Web .
